It was awesome. We drank far too much beer, sang far too loudly and generally had a fantastic time. By far the best gig I&#8217;ve ever been to. Those Canadian red-neck boys sure know how to throw a shin-dig.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/picasaweb.google.com\/theorangeteapot\/20080919NickelbackO2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-141\" title=\"img00106\" src=\"http:\/\/simkin.org\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/img00106-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Adam looking forward to a night of Rock!!!\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They started loud. <a href=\"http:\/\/uk.youtube.com\/watch?v=utEqg0fXMlo&amp;feature=related\">We had fire<\/a>. We had an impressive <a href=\"http:\/\/uk.youtube.com\/watch?v=gwm5_pqZ5UQ\">drum solo<\/a> and constant mutterings of &#8220;Timmy!&#8221; in true South Park fashion. Their cover of &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/uk.youtube.com\/watch?v=owdfUwB--xI&amp;feature=related\">Saturday night&#8217;s all right (for fighting)<\/a>&#8221; was unexpected and a real highlight. A good selection of my favourite (who told them?) tracks from &#8220;The Long Road&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/uk.youtube.com\/watch?v=xOptqOzkDzw&amp;feature=related\">All The Right Reasons<\/a>&#8221; with &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/uk.youtube.com\/watch?v=V8e0ENiS7WA&amp;feature=related\">How You Remind Me<\/a>&#8221; from &#8220;Silver Side Up&#8221; for good measure. Of course we had &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/uk.youtube.com\/watch?v=AX9K5faLKd8&amp;feature=related\">Rockstar<\/a>&#8221; for the encore. Well why the hell not.<\/p>\n<p>Been there. Seen it. Done it. Bought the t-shirt.
