He was happy to go into hospital and<br \/>\nwas smiling right up to going under the anaesthetic. Once he came round he just<br \/>\nwanted to go home. But after much <a href=\"\/images\/news\/Dan2001071727.jpg\">bribing<\/a>, he agreed to stay overnight. Daddy<br \/>\nstayed with him and he slept right through the night. This morning, the nurse<br \/>\nannounced he could go home when he liked. Dan started putting his shoes on.<br \/>\nAll the staff at Brentwood Nuffield Hospital were superb and his surgeon,<br \/>\nMr Choudhray was explained everything and ensured Daniel was happy after it<br \/>\nall. We have already noticed Daniel&#8217;s speech improving but he is a bit croaky<br \/>\nand his throat is sore.<\/p>\n<p>Now Daniel has to stay home, away from other children for two weeks.<br \/>\nGetting William to and from school is going to be fun for the next fortnight.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Daniel&#8217;s operation went very well yesterday.
