We did the first charity ride of the year on Sunday and have raised £400 for the Stroke Association.
It was a hot, dusty day on London Bridges and we weaved around side streets, joggers, dog-walkers and of course other cyclists to cover the 33miles in 3 1/2 hours. Nothing to scare Lance Armstrong but then again he never had to deal with traffic lights.
A handful of photos mostly covering Matt’s demonstration on how to replace an inner tube in under 3 minutes (again, the F1 pit crews have nothing to worry about but Matt was pleased) are available here:Â http://picasaweb.google.com/theorangeteapot/20080511LondonBridgesBikeRide
If you want to contribute towards the final total, you still can by visiting our sponsorship pages:

Alternatively, I am now fundraising for the next one – Essex Countryside Ride on 12th July. 58miles in aid of a children’s hospice. To sponsor me for that one, click here:

Thanks again to all our supports for the encouragement and sponsorship.
