The Great Fire of London Tour

William has been studying the Great Fire of London and the London mayors. For those of you reading this from a part of the World for which that means nothing or who dozed off during history class, it happenned in 1666 and basically destroyed most of London whilst fortuitously both killing off the Plague and rejuvinating popular opinion of the monarch, Charles II.

I like taking one of my boys off on a day-trip as they tend to behave better and as a result both they and I have a great “bonding” day together. William and I just wandered around the sites and the Museum of London, chatting and taking our own good time. Nice.
